Write down steps

Even if you are going to do something straightaway, if it has several steps, write down what you are going to do (especially if there is a chance one of the steps might distract you).

Don’t ever assume you will remember something (however important / significant it might be). Everything you are not going to do straightaway should be written down, straightaway.
