I keep a (home-made) badge in my bag which says “I have Alzheimer’s, please be patient”. If I need help, I look for a friendly person and pull it out. It gets a very good response.

I always follow where I am on Google Maps, then I feel I have control. It can show a map in your Calendar and even a photo of the building you are going to.
