I loved working on the Symbols research project. It made me feel I was getting an opportunity to make some changes. And I’ve become friends with the people I met on ZOOM. (Read more in this book ‘Loud and Clear‘).

Involvement in research was the only thing I could think of to do – to think of future generations…

I know that it is too late for the outcome of any research I do to help me. But the very act of doing the research helps me. It keeps my mind active, and it also makes me feel useful. (Read this blog by Martin Robertson). 

 

I like being involved in research. I go to the University monthly and I find it good to hear the young PhD brains. It lifts me up. (Watch the DEEP Zoomettes’ film “ ZOOM, virtual meeting guide”)
