I’ve made a short video on how to use Zoom for a meeting. (Watch this film by Frances Isaacs here).

Campaigning helps me block out the later stages. Projects keep me challenged.

Don’t agree to meetings that are too early or too late for you. And don’t get left to the end of the agenda, which might make you get anxious. You might ask to go before or just after a break. (Read more on John Quinn’s blog here).

Don’t assume others know what you need to be successfully involved – they can’t read your mind. I have a standard list I give to people. (Read more in this book ‘Loud and Clear‘).

If you are invited to travel to an event, ask for what you need. Maybe an overnight or a taxi, or a quiet room. Put yourself first, and be assertive and clear about your needs. (Read more in this book ‘Loud and Clear‘).
