I was diagnosed in 2014 with mixed dementia. I soon learnt that adapting was the key to survival in order to outmanoeuvre the everyday challenges that dementia throws at you. I am the author of Sunday Times Best Seller ‘Somebody I Used to Know’ and also proud and humbled to be Dr from Hull and Bradford Universities.
