Peter Berry

Born and bred in Suffolk, I used to own my own timber business which my father started in 1947. I took this over when his Alzheimer’s made it difficult for him to run. Now I have had to give it up because of my own diagnosis. I often think that dementia is a complex condition surrounded by simplicity and solutions. I am a great believer in focusing on solutions, rather than the problem – which is why the Tip Share website is such a wonderful idea! My book ‘Slow Puncture’, written with my friend Deb, is due out in September 2020 (here’s something sad…I will never read it). Cycling is my salvation from my dementia monster ,and I will continue to push down on the pedals to keep that monster at bay. The photo here is me with my wife Teresa (taken by Charmian Berry).
