PACE group

PACE group Oxfordshire (Positive Activists, Consultants and Educators) is an active peer support group for people living with young onset dementia. We regularly participate in student nurse training at Brookes University and speak to Oxford Health staff groups. We give feedback to commissioning groups on local dementia services, have spoken about dementia on Oxford Radio and present at conferences. We have also made three short films to help people newly diagnosed and to raise awareness of the issues relating to young onset. We participate in research and are involved in creating a young onset dementia advisor checklist.
